Recipe Round Up! Homemade Holiday Brunch Ideas

I know we are all busy bees with only a couple more sleeps until Chrimbo (as it is called over here in London). So this will be a quick and easy blog post as a go to guide of what you can make for breakfast and brunch over the holiday period. You may already know this about me but Sunday brunch is literally my favorite meal of the week!  While it isn’t always acceptable to eat a hearty and indulgent brunch every day, over the next week it is almost mandatory!  On this list you will find sweet and savory dishes.  There are some healthy options here too. So I’ll categorize it like Santa would, a NAUGHTY and NICE list!   So sit back, relax, and drool over some some great brunch ideas….

The Naughty List (by the way, all the recipes are nice, but if we must categorize, these on the naughty list do contain some or all of the following: dairy, sugar, eggs, gluten. However, they can be adapted for those who choose to eat “free from”)

Cereal and Milk French Toast Casserole

Oatmeal Cookie Pancakes

Apple Pancakes

Pumpkin Pancakes

Pumpkin Waffles

Mahatma Muffins

Roasted Figs and Baked French Toast

Lemon and Lavender Loaf

Corn Cakes (two ways)

Savoury French Toast with Mixed Mushrooms

The Nice List:

Blueberry Waffles

Baked Mushrooms stuffed with Spinach and Eggs

Easy Peasy Pancakes

Easy Peasy Pancakes with Notella

Zucchini Flans

Free to be Banana Blueberry Loaf

Megawatt Breakfast Bars

Outrageous Granola

Bacon and Egg Savoury Porridge

I hope you find something on this list to enjoy during the coming holiday season or in the new year. And if you have a favorite breakfast or brunch recipe I’d love to hear from you!  Whether it is your own recipe, from a blog you love or your granny’s special creation, send me a comment.  I would be more than happy to include it on here!

Until next time, sending you brunches of LOVE,

YDP
