Recipe: Monday Sunshine Lemon Lavender Loaf

As I have mentioned on here before, I am amused when I hear people complain about Mondays.  I think they are great. Fresh start to the week and all.  But it does help set things straight when you take some tasty homebaked treats to work to share with your coworkers. Welcome back to Woman Crush Wednesday! My favorite day of the week where I choose a female chef and recreate one of her recipes live on Snapchat.  And of course this here is the LOVE story for our one and only gourmet gal!  This week’s honoree is the best selling cookery book writer and world famous food blogger Deb Perelman.  Her blog Smitten Kitchen has been the gold standard for food bloggers practically since its inception back in 2006. There is even a foodie recipe for you, since food is of the utmost importance in your festive fourth of July gathering. Continue reading

Especially for someone like me who loves Mexican food, culture, and people! Continue reading
