Guest Blogger Month III: Post #21

Have you ever had the experience of meeting someone, even just once, and you felt totally connected to them? Like long lost friends but you hardly know one another. And while your friendship grows you may not even see or talk to them often, but when you do you always walk away with a wonderful comforting feeling.  That is how I feel about today’s Guest Blogger Nicola. She shared a LOVE story on here the first year, and came back again last year and shared another amazing post for the Month of LOVE.  So I was delighted she said she would contribute this year as well. Nicola lives in Wexford, Ireland and is a well known blogger.  However, she is even more famous for her incredible devotion to her family. And when you read this touching, tender and yet tough piece you will see why I love her so much!

Guest Blogger Month II: Post #8

As I mentioned before, last year there were 33 Guest Bloggers for the Month of LOVE series. When I invited folks to share love stories again this year, I hoped some who shared last year might come back for a return visit. And so I was delighted when my dear friend Nicola from Simply Homemade Blog messaged to say she had a story she wanted us all to hear. Guest Blogger Month: Post #10

Someone asked me the other day if Valentine’s Day is my favorite day.  Yes it is, but at the same time every day is Valentine’s Day for me.  It’s not just a day for romantic love, but even school children get excited to share their little cards with their friends.  And maybe if the “Hallmark Holiday” gets people to think about LOVE and it’s iconic symbol (the red heart) even for only one day, then that is better than nothing at all.  However, as we have seen thus far during Guest Blogger Month, there are so many ways in which love is manifested in our world.
