Recipe: Woman Crush Wednesday

I just love vegetables! I had to put that out there, and it will make sense in a minute. But what I love most is my weekly homage to the female chefs in the culinary world. Wednesday is more than a hump day to mark the slide towards the weekend. For me it is the focal point of the week. I get so much joy honoring a gorgeous gourmet gal by recreating one of her recipes live on Snapchat (username blissbakery). Recipe Round Up! Homemade Holiday Brunch Ideas

I know we are all busy bees with only a couple more sleeps until Chrimbo (as it is called over here in London). So this will be a quick and easy blog post as a go to guide of what you can make for breakfast and brunch over the holiday period. Pumpkin Recipe Roundup!

My LOVE of all things pumpkin is well documented. I know I am not alone. I just read a blog post titled 20 Signs Your Pumpkin Addiction is Out of Control!  It actually makes me look tame!  In fact, while I have posted pumpkin recipes on here before, this is the first time I have ever put all ten of my fav pumpkin recipes together on one post. Recipe: Courgette Cakes

One of the best things about teaching cookery classes is seeing the students delighted with themselves when they have recreated a dish I have demoed.  Especially one that is a bit different than the norm.  Such is the case with these savory Courgette Cakes.  Or as my American friends might call them, Zucchini Fritters.  In essence they are a pancake.  However, not your typical Sunday brunch pancake which is a butter and syrup laden affair.  Continue reading
