Guest Blogger Month II Debrief and Links

It’s hard to believe that March 1st is already here!  After 28 days and 32 Guest Bloggers sharing LOVE stories, it is time to move forward.  With full hearts of course!  It has been a most amazing experience.  I am still basking in the warmth from the touching and powerful words that were shared by these brave souls.  The reality is, LOVE is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning.  That is a quote from one of my fav writers, Paulo Coelho.  So thank you to the Guest Bloggers who gave so much meaning to a word that is often misunderstood.

Guest Blogger Month II: Post #30

Guest Blogger Post #30 is the last in what has been a most amazing Month of LOVE series. I think Yankee Doodle Paddy is still humming from all the phenomenal and varied love stories.  Tomorrow I will post a debrief of this whole experience and include links to all the love stories (and the music I used in the Snapchat reveals) on one page.  However right now it is our last (but not least) author’s turn.   Eimear is truly one of the nicest ladies in the world. I feel lucky I was able to not only meet her in person but spend nearly the whole day with her and her sweet daughter. I am sure it won’t be the last time we are together. We hit it off from the first time we messaged each other on Snapchat and when you read this story you too will see how lovely she is!

Guest Blogger Month II: Post #29

I feel super blessed that Yankee Doodle Paddy Guest Blogger Month of LOVE series received more submissions than days in February.  Hence this is Post #29 and it is a fun one too.  The engaging Eric, the fourth man to bravely share his story this month, has a heart pumping tail for you.  And no, that wasn’t a typo.  I said tail, though it is very much like a fairy tale.  However, once you start reading you’ll see there is a tail in the tale!

Guest Blogger Month II: Post #27

Guest Blogger Post #27 is by the awesome blogger Cath of Passports and Adventures .  Cath was one of my early Snapchat friends.  Another Irish living abroad,  she and I had the pleasure of meeting when she came to London for a blogger convention. We hit it off instantly and she even joined me on my weekly adventure called Foodie Fieldtrip Friday.  So I was delighted when she agreed to participate in the Month of LOVE series and share a very sweet story.  It is especially meaningful to me, being that I have a son, and that my favorite book of all time is quoted in the opening line!

Guest Blogger Month II: Post #26

Love KNOWS no bounds.  I’ll repeat that:  LOVE knows NO bounds!  By that I mean, all of us can experience it. Young or old, strong or weak, men or women, sick or well, feeling high or at our lowest, it doesn’t matter, ‘cuz love knows no BOUNDS.  If you watch commercials around Valentine’s Day they always show this perfectly curated sort of love.  Everyone looks pristine and happy, financially secure (of course, so you can buy those diamonds), and healthy.  However, often it is when we are none of those “Madison Avenue” creations that we need love the most.  Today I am sharing with you two amazing people who have been brave enough to come forward for the Guest Blogger Month of LOVE.  For Post #26 I am sharing the love stories of the beautiful Kerry and the lovely Paul. They have both had a rough go in life. They deal with health issues and yet still continue to love.  Part of that is because they have been shown love to them. When many in society run to the hills when someone suffers with mental illness or a physical disability, Kerry and Paul have angels in their lives to prove, yes LOVE exists!  I will share Kerry’s powerful love story first and let Paul reveal his after. And please, please, read these with a tender heart. Because one day surely we too will need one!

Guest Blogger Month II: Post #25

I love Cathi!  Or Cathidee as I call her.  All my Snapchat friends are referred to by their usernames when I am conversing with Hubby about them.  Today’s amazing Guest Blogger #25 Cathi lives in Georgia with her Hubby.  She is the mom of four fab kids and grandmother to one.  I’ve been so blessed to get to know her and enjoy her kind loving manner.  I could listen to her gorgeous accent all day long and her words are always deep and thoughtful, with some humor and sass mixed in for fun!  I suggested she submit a love story for the Guest Blogger Month and thankfully she did just that!
