Welcome back to, you know it, my fav day of the week! Whoop whoop! Woman Crush Wednesday, where each week I choose a female chef and re-create one of her recipes live on Snapchat (username blissbakery). Not on Snapchat?  No biggie. I will be sharing the recipe, photos, and information about my Woman Crush Wednesday recipient on this here blog. I call it a LOVE story.  Because first of all I love LOVE!  Secondly, because don’t think this #timesup is just about Hollywood gender disparity. Working in the culinary world I have seen it in this industry for far too long. Well the Beast from the East couldn’t put a damper on today’s episode of Woman Crush Wednesday. Guest Blogger Month II: Post #6

Last year for the Guest Blogger Month I had two men share LOVE stories….and one of those was my Hubby!  I get that society makes sharing the topic of love a bit intimidating especially for dudes!  However,  LOVE not only has no gender, but it can also be about so many topics.  In fact the aforementioned love story from Hubby was about a pair of boots.  And he never even used the word LOVE!  But love oozes from each sentence.  So I am delighted that this year we have another man brave enough to share a love story.  I am excited to introduce you to a fellow Irish and a fellow chef, the awesome Matt! Today’s Woman Crush Wednesday is coming to you from the U.S.A.  I’m here visiting family and enjoying a playcation with my granddaughters.  Being back in the country of my birth makes it a perfect time to honor Christina Tosi.  Not only is she the 82nd WCW recipient but she is also the creator and chef of Milk Bar.  This world famous bakery headquartered in NYC has 8 locations now.  With two cookbooks under her belt, her recipes are very American in their roots.  But Christina is super innovative in her approach to being a pastry chef. I know we are all busy bees with only a couple more sleeps until Chrimbo (as it is called over here in London). So this will be a quick and easy blog post as a go to guide of what you can make for breakfast and brunch over the holiday period. You may already know this about me but Sunday brunch is literally my favorite meal of the week!  While it isn’t always acceptable to eat a hearty and indulgent brunch every day, over the next week it is almost mandatory!  On this list you will find sweet and savory dishes.  There are some healthy options here too. Recipe: Waffles Two Ways

Hello from Havana!  Sorry to have to miss an opportunity for another Woman Crush Wednesday cooking tutorial.  However, Hubby is a juror at a film festival here in Cuba.  Specifically the Festival International Del Nuevo Cine Latino Americano.  We were lucky to have been in Venice, Italy for the film festival there this summer, which you can read about here.  And this one is shaping up to be pretty amazing too.  I will share a blog post as soon as possible.
