No doubt Ireland is my soul home. But it is safe to say that France is second on the list of places I could live. I’ve had the good fortune to see some amazing sights there over the years….skiing the Olympic slopes of Val d’Isere, walking the stoney beaches of Nice in the South of France, perusing the lavender regions in Provence, tastings at wineries in Bordeaux, honoring the fallen soldiers at Omaha Beach in Normandy, and yes even a pilgrimage to Lourdes. But Paris is the place that keeps calling me back. Because let’s face it, it is the city of LOVE! Continue reading

The Climb of a Lifetime
Bucket Lists are important in our household that is for sure. I’ve written about it on here before. And this weekend we were able to tick off another biggie from the list. Believe it or not Hubby and I succeeded in climbing Croagh Patrick the Holy Mountain in the West of Ireland. It was years in the making but we finally did it and have lived to tell the tale! Happy Birthday Dad!
Today would have been my dad’s 79th birthday. Well, shall I say it is his 79th birthday. And even though I am in Paris I am still going to celebrate it! Blue Sky Tag- 11 Questions
This is a first! I’ve done “What’s in your handbag” and “What’s your beauty routine” Snapchat tags. But I’ve never done a blogger tag. This one is called “Blue Sky-11 questions”. While I don’t celebrate this one myself, as I only celebrate the U.S. Mother’s Day in May, I still recognize it. I have so many friends over here who do celebrate. So I just want to wish each and every one of you who is a mom, grandma, great grandma, stepmom, adoptive mom, godmom or somehow a maternal influence on a human being, a happy and blessed day! Happy St. Paddy’s (not Patty) Day
While I’ve spent eight out of the last ten St. Patrick’s Days on the Emerald Isle, sadly I won’t be in my soul home today. But here is some good news .. Continue reading
Girl Power! International Women’s Day & National Women’s Enterprise Day
Today is Wednesday which usually means I do a cooking tutorial for my Woman Crush Wednesday series. I choose a female chef and recreate one of her recipes live on Snapchat. However, today is a momentous day around the world. It is International Women’s Day which is being played out in many different ways. Various events from marathons, marches, lunches and summits, all highlighting this year’s theme of #beboldforachange. Continue reading
